Can Pilates Ease The Pain of Arthritis?

Recently I was diagnosed with early onset arthritis.  Over my life, I have met several women dealing with the intense pain and reduced mobility of Rheumatoid arthritis.  They describe searching for a variety of avenues to reduce their pain and increase their joint mobility.  Many, myself included, find relief from the symptoms with exercise and particularly, the practice of Pilates.
